Draper Partners with Cambridge Fire Department for Toys for Tots 2020
CAMBRIDGE, MA—Draper teamed up with the Cambridge Fire Department in collecting hundreds of toys for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive. This year Draper continued a 15-year-long holiday tradition by raising $17,444 and using it to purchase toys for the national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. The Cambridge Fire Department is a collection point for Toys for Tots. The company contributed $5,000 of the total $17,444 for a combined amount large enough to buy 16 bins of toys. Scott Lennox, an organizer for Draper’s toy drive, said, “Draper is thrilled to bring joy to children in need during the holidays by supporting the efforts of the Cambridge Fire Department and the Toys for Tots campaign. In the midst of a year like no other, our employees joined together to help Cambridge and the surrounding area with the most donations we have ever had for Toys for Tots.” Cambridge Fire Chief Gerry Mahoney thanked Draper, and said, “We’re fortunate to have such a dedicated and committed community partner in Draper and are grateful for the support it has provided to keep our holiday program going for more than a decade.”
